The City of Toronto has issued an extreme cold weather alert with temperatures set to plummet starting Monday afternoon.
The temperature in the city is set to
drop to -4 C Monday afternoon before plummeting to -16 C Monday night.
Tuesday’s forecasted high is -12 C, but the wind chill will make it feel
more like -27 C.
Environment Canada has also issued a
special weather statement for parts of southern and eastern Ontario
warning of heavy flurries, gusty winds and blowing snow.
