People over 70 being asked to stay home; others to limit time outside

Ontario’s chief medical officer, Dr. David Williams, is asking people over 70 and those of any age with a comprised immune system or underlying health condition not to go outside anymore.
Others should stay home as much as possible to limit the spread of COVID-19, he said. Coronavirus has killed 33 people in Ontario by Monday.
His statement was echoed by Premier Doug Ford who said the sight of crowded parks, sidewalks and streets in Sunday’s sunny and mild weather was “unacceptable.” There is a shortage of masks, gowns, gloves, face shields and other personal protective equipment for health care workers, he said
